Virtual Housewarming Party in 5 Easy Steps...
Greetings Agency Title clients! Today’s topic is how to throw a virtual housewarming party in 5 easy steps…
Step #1
Have fun registering online!
Yes, you can register for gifts from all of the major online retailers.
Target, Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ikea & more! I have attached the registry links to each of the retailers listed. Please click on the store you like and you will be taken straight to the registry.
Step #2
Find a virtual location for your party.
Many options are available for your party. Zoom, Skype, Houseparty and more. The Houseparty app is fun because it has games like Pictionary on the app.
Step #3
Create an E-Invite.
This type of invitation is fun to create, easy to send and it allows your guests to interact with your registry. There are many different companies that offer free e-invites for all occasions, but I like E-vite. E-vite does not require a sign in for attendees and for that reason alone, it is tops in my book.
Step #4
Mail out a party package!
A party package is just as it sounds, a package of goodies for your guests. Items you include are up to you but I do have a few recommendations…
– Game cards.
Housewarming Bingo ~ Guests write-in items they think they may find in your home. Using your phone, give a tour of your new house. First guests to BINGO wins! This is also a great time to show guests how you have incorporated the presents they have given you into your new home and give thanks.
New Home Scramble ~ Guests write down how many words they can spell with the letters in your new address. Most words, wins!
Scavenger Hunt ~ This one is a lot of fun if you have the guests find the items in their home. Party Guest with the most items, wins!
Regarding prizes, a $10 Starbucks gift card, delivered to the winners email never hurt anyone’s feelings.
–Individual Drink & Snack.
That is right! You may not be able to fix a big spread in your new kitchen but that doesn’t mean you can’t plan ahead. In your party package, toss in an individually wrapped snack and one of those drink packets that you can add to water. Granted, it is not the same as a big spread but it does show that you left no stone unturned.
–A Thank You Gift.
Something small to say thank you for celebrating my new home with me. Handmade potpourri sachets are adorable and lightweight. Remember, these packages will be mailed.
Step #5
Enjoy your Housewarming Party!
You have this covered!
A few games, a quick tour and a relaxing chance to catch up while everyone enjoys their snack…. Sounds like a perfect day! 🙂
Thank you for being the best part of Agency Title!
